Fulani Braids were originally done by the Fulani Tribe from West Africa. Currently, they are dispersed across the Central as well as the Northern part of Africa. In the past, Fulani braids hairstyles were identified with straight cornrows going towards the back and parted down at the middle and accessorized with beads.
As is the tradition, most black hairstylists are usually known to experiment with different braiding designs and styles. This typically means that they tend to spruce up old styles using new braiding techniques, designs, size and length variants and Fulani braids are no exception. There a new way of doing Fulani braids that is as trendy as it is stylish.

How Can I Do Fulani Braids with Knotless Braids?
Here’s how to do Fulani braids with knotless at the back with ease:
First, part the prestretched hair into two different sections. Ensure the back of the head is about ¾ of the hair and the remaining ¼ should be the front part.
You can start by doing the feed in stitch cornrow braids at the front or knotless at the back. The choice is yours.
If you choose to go with the latter, part your hair to different sizes according to your specifications then apply shine n jam. Braid your natural hair before you proceed to feed in the braiding hair gradually as you move along as you normally would traditionally.
Repeat the process for the entire back section with the ¾ part of the hair.
For the remaining ¼ part of the hair at the front, you are allowed to be as creative as you can and experiment with different designs to come up with something unique. The stitch feed in braids allows you to do whatever you want in terms of creativity. Besides, there are different ways of doing stitch cornrow braids.
Always apply a generous amount of shine n jam on the parted lined depending on the method you choose to use. This is because sleeked down parted lines tend to look neater.
When you are done stitching in the braids at the front, apply mousse all over the head and lay the edges. You can also dip the braided hair in hot water for a more sleeked down look.
